[Wactclc-primo] Search Primo by location? - Hardcoded URLs

That's perfect, Wade - those links are exactly what I need. The PENINSULA_ALMA search is new to me (guess I missed the memo on that one :)), and will be a very useful tool. Thanks so much.

I basically just did a search in Primo for PENINSULA_ALMA (which serves as a wildcard search for your local collection), and then clicked on one or the other of the location facets, and then copied the URL.

Hi, Shellie and Wade,

I'm trying to set up some canned searches that our students can access, to show them what items we have on display, and what items are new. If students could click a link on our website and see these, it would be ideal.

But...I don't know how to set up a search by holding location in Primo. Is it possible? We used to be able to do it in Voyager in the OPAC, but I'm still looking in Primo.

Here are the searches I mean, created in Alma. But those won't work for our students, because they can't sign in to Alma.

*         Search for items on display (currently poetry):  https://sbctc-pencol.alma.exlibrisgroup.com/rep/action/pageAction.search.advanced_search.xml.do?pageViewMode=Edit&xmlFileName=search.advanced_search.xml
*         Search for items on 2nd display (currently Native Lives): https://sbctc-pencol.alma.exlibrisgroup.com/rep/action/pageAction.search.advanced_search.xml.do?pageViewMode=Edit&xmlFileName=search.advanced_search.xml

*         Search for new materials: (will change depending on what we consider "new", and what material categories we wish to include.) What do you think...can Primo's search capabilities duplicate these? Do you know how?
