[Wactclc-alma] Auto-renewals

Elena,

We found out through trial and error, that the Handle loans setting under

Alma config > Fulfillment > General > Fulfillment Jobs Configuration > Send Courtesy Notices and Handle Loan Renewals Job

Can make things not renew when you thought they were supposed to.

We have ours set for Daily within range without repeating notification.

The other thing to be aware of it that the job that autorenews things only runs once a day. Ours is set to run at midnight.  You might need to set the due date a bit further out when testing to make sure job catches it. Does that make sense?


It will be ok!

Hi there:

I am trying to set up auto-renewal for some items and having problems. I have set up that employees can auto-renew their items. I tried to test it by checking out an item to myself and setting the due date and time for this morning at 10 am. However, it did not auto-renew as expected.

I have checked Terms of Use. I have checked the Fulfillment Unit Rule. I have checked the item policy.  Everything looks like it should have auto-renewed. But it didn’t. I am at a dead end with my troubleshooting. Does anyone have any clues as to what went wrong here?
