Good morning, Tinh,

I agree with Tanjagay that you need more information.  Having an out-of-state address is not necessarily disqualifying.  In addition to military-affiliated students, financially dependent students with a Washington resident parent, students who are residents temporarily absent from the state (like for college), and American Indian students<https://app.leg.wa.gov/RCW/default.aspx?cite=28B.15.0131> (with certain states) could have an out-of-state address on file.

Good afternoon,

I have an interesting question regarding one of our returning students.

The student's residency status was In-State since Winter 2021. She currently lives in South Carolina and her address was updated to be SC state in the ctcLink. She is planning to take classes at Edmonds College and receive financial aid.

How can we update the residency status to Out of State?
