[LIBRARYDIR] [EXTERNAL] Re: ACRL survey and eLearning?

Hello Heath,
I oversee the Library, eLearning & Tutoring, but we have only reported library data for the past two years. Before that, when Jane Blume oversaw the Library and Media Services, Media Services numbers were included.

Hi Heath, I plan keep the library numbers separate from elearning, as well. I feel it would be misleading to combine. That's my take!

Heath, I'm not saying that what I'm doing is right or wrong!  I'm over the library, media services, and eLearning. I have separate budgets for each and the staff are housed separately and function separately.  I only use numbers for the library, not Media or eLearning.

I have a question. I am working on our ACRL survey data this year (this is my second year completing this) and last year I included our eLearning staff in the numbers. For those of you connected to eLearning and other types of services, do you submit eLearning data rolled in with your library data? I was told to include them and noted they were included in the previous year report I inherited.



Do you integrate number of staff and benefits of eLearning areas (and/or other areas in your division purview) in the ACRL data survey?
