Hi Heath,

Good point! That's what I thought too-which is the reason that the initial email was simply asking folks to share the courses to the Commons. But many suggested a separate list to keep it as an inventory and I think there might be some benefits doing that.

One benefit I can see is that you can expand this list beyond the Canvas courses in the Commons, after the COVID19 madness is over. It also provides this bird-eye view for what is available/who is sharing from which school without having to login Canvas. Whether faculty are inclined to list the course in the Google sheet not, I hope we will have enough number of courses shared to Commons. :-)

Thank you for putting this together. I am curious if searching in Canvas Commons for WA State CTCs in Commons would be more direct? I can limit for WA State CTCs in Commons and all of those courses come up. All of the CC license stipulations, the faculty/author, and the CTC originator all show up for each individual course/module/etc. What info does the link to the Excel doc below provide aside from what is already present in Canvas Commons?

  *   Choose either Consortium or Public level access
     *   Consortium: Only faculty at our WA CTC's will see it
     *   Public level: Anyone with a Canvas account will see it
  *   Select the terms of use of your choice.
     *   Select Copyrighted if you would like to be contacted for permission when someone wants to use your course beyond adopting it for the upcoming quarter.
     *   Select Creative Commons or Public domain to grant permission in advance; you don't need to be contacted in order for someone to use your course content.
