Is anyone familiar with what this "DMCA Designated Agent Directory--Renewal Reminder" thing (see first email, below) is? Is it legitimate, or can/should it be ignored?

This is unfamiliar to me, too, and I’m sure I don’t have any login information either. You might forward this to Jeannie because she could hit the library directors’ listserv to find out more from them. I’m thinking it’s an institutional liability thing, e.g. that in registering we attest that we follow copyright as an institution.
