[LIBRARYDIR] FW: FOLIO Overview/Demo/Q&A for WACTCLC

Greetings all,

As per some interest from WACTLC, a demo webinar has been scheduled with Ebsco to go over their upcoming LSP, FOLIO. This open source alternative to LSPs like Alma/Primo is currently under development and will be released early next year. Contributors include University of Alabama and Duke. Think of it like "Evergreen or Koha for Academic Libraries." Anyway, please consider attending the webinar and consider sharing with librarians or your systems folks who might be curious. Even if it's not something you'd consider for your own library, it might be worth checking out to see how the library systems landscape is evolving.
