[LIBRARYDIR] EBSCO Faculty Select Interest Survey Results

Hi Boyoung,

I sent out a survey to test for interest in EBSCO's Faculty Select product.  I am sending you the results ahead of tomorrow's demonstration by George Dragich.

The survey was short-only four questions:  (1) name of respondent, (2) name of college, (3) are you interested in Faculty Select, and (4) if the State Board subsidizes the subscription, would you be interested?

There were 20 respondents.  Of the 20, 14 are interested in subscribing to a pilot year.  If the State Board subsidizes the subscription, 17 are interested in subscribing to a pilot year.  While there are many ways libraries can support OER, Faculty Select could be a big help in moving the needle and helping students struggling with the high cost of textbooks.
