There can be only one!  Position openings in the library at BBCC are rare so here is your chance!  Ok, so we only have one full-time faculty librarian, but that is why they are rare!

If you haven't heard, Libby will be the new librarian at Skagit Valley's Whidbey Island campus library.

We are a small staff but we work very collaboratively to have the maximum impact on our campus and we have a lot of fun doing it.   BBCC's student body includes large numbers of first generation, low income, students and are a Hispanic serving institution. Because we have a small staff that also means we don't get pigeonholed into just doing one thing.  If you like working directly with students and faculty this is the position for you!  We have a beautiful library and great resources despite being one of the three smallest community colleges in the state.  You also get to work with Zach and I!  What more could you ask for?

Moses Lake is a small but growing community with a lot to offer, especially in the areas of outdoor recreation. If you are into wine, we've got you covered there too as Eastern WA is becoming almost as well known for our wines as our fruit production.  We have very mild weather, LOTS sunny days year-round, and sunsets that are simply breathtaking. On a clear day you can even see Mt. Rainier.  Moses Lake is very much central Washington so if you need to go to "the big city" Spokane, Wenatchee, and the Tri-Cities are only an hour and a half away!

BTW Home prices in Moses Lake are low compared to the west side!
