Thanks for the share.  Is there a cost for the trainings?  I see at the end, "available to almost all WA libraries at a relatively low cost" but am unsure whether that's in reference to the training or the product.

The Statewide Database Licensing Project at the Washington State Library, is pleased to announce the availability of Jeff Cutler, ProQuest Senior Training and Consulting Partner, for in-person training throughout the State of Washington in October.

The available dates are M-F, October 9-13 and M-F, October 16-20.

Note: The morning of October 11 is tentatively booked for a site in Lincoln County, Eastern WA.

Sessions can be 2-3 hours each, as desired.

Given reasonably adjacent locations, sessions can be scheduled at separate locations morning and afternoon of each day.

Please consult the attached proposed agenda for these sessions. The emphasis on “when and why” to use the various ProQuest resources has been developed by ProQuest at our specific request. However, sessions can be customized for specific locations. In other words, if you would prefer an emphasis on certain resources, or topics, that can be arranged in advance with Jeff.

Please take advantage of this opportunity! Consider that everyone can use a refresher, and for many library front-line staff, this could well be their best and only opportunity for an expert introduction to these products, available to almost all WA libraries at a relatively low cost.
