[LIBRARYDIR] Job opening at SVC Whidbey Island Campus

Hi everyone,

I am resending this announcement about a replacement librarian position at Skagit Valley College's (SVC) Whidbey Island Campus (WIC).  It is an annually contracted part-time (71%-- 25 hours/week) position.  The librarian will have oversight of the campus library and will work closely with the Mount Vernon Campus librarians.  The WIC librarian is also the liaison to the SVC centers at Anacortes, San Juan Island, and South Whidbey.  The 9-month position starts in September 2017. The Whidbey Island Campus (WIC) is located in Oak Harbor and is situated very closely to the Whidbey Island Naval Air Station.  Many of the students are enlisted navy, veterans, or family members.  Whidbey Island is a beautiful jewel of an island connected on the north by the breath-taking Deception Pass Bridge, on the west by the Coupeville-Port Townsend ferry, and on the south by the Clinton-Mukilteo ferry.
