Please note that effective tomorrow (Thursday, September 12, 2013)
mailings need to use 2013 project codes if it is paid out of LSTA
funding. As such, use the 83xx xx coding for your project.

The 2012 coding (72xx) will be deleted from the postage machine
tomorrow.

All LSTA codes for Library Development use a 09550 Program Index.

Any code that starts with a 70xx xx or 71xx xx is no longer valid,
please delete them.

I have embedded the latest chart of accounts message as an attachment.
We had to move to an 83xx series because of changes in Enterprise
Reporting and the incorrect reporting of the 7xxx series expenditures.

If you reach a time this month where it would be more convenient to
switch to our 2013 funding using the 83xx series, let me know and do so.
You can then delete the 72xx series from the postage meter. I simply
need to let my staff know that the switch has occurred.

Greetings All,

As a visual please look at the attached codes we currently are using in
the mailroom. Most of the meter codes were preset back when Bob Hudnall
was here. I have entered a couple new codes as has Thuha. But to my
knowledge only one has been removed per Brenda Landers request.

Help me to understand what the process is and when changes need to be
made. Perhaps this is a gray area where it is assumed that mailroom
staff (Thuha and myself) know what codes should be and when they should
change. It appears neither Thuha or myself know the correct process.

I did talk with Jeff about the LSTA coding that changes the end of
September and he is going to get me an update. You can see on the LSTA
attachment that the Project changed from 7105 to 7205 which looks like
the year to me. Starting October 1 will the code be 7305. There are a
couple last year that are still 7040 and 7041. If any of these codes
can\should be eliminated I would like to remove from the meter.

If I could get a current update of what codes are being used, I will
update the meter accordingly.

I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

Subject: August 2013 postage transfer coding question

Hello:

I'm processing the postage transfer for August, and the AFRS system is
rejecting MI 8241 37. I don't know if you can change it on the report
generated and sent to me on a monthly

basis, but we should let you know the report has that code on it. Paula
and I discussed this, and it appears that the code should be 8341 37,
could you confirm this, and let us know?

Thanks!
