Hi LTCA folks


Thanks to everyone who participated in the LTCA 2023-2025 board election as a candidate, a voter, and both :> Based on the results, I introduce you to your new board. They have all accepted the appointment.

Lyall Rudenskjold – Highline College
Lindsey Powers – Bellevue College
Shannon Pressley – Tacoma Community College
Ward Ryder – South Seattle College


As a reminder, we decided to experiment with not appointing people to positions and letting the board self-organize themselves after the election.


I will also meet with this in the next couple weeks to facilitate the transition process.


I’d also like to thank the interim board members who stepped in this past year – Lisa Sandoval, Elmira Utz, and Lindsey Powers. We couldn’t have hobbled through the past year without them stepping in. Much appreciated!

I also want to thank this new board for agreeing to step up and serve our statewide community of learning center professionals. We heard loud and clear that you all want to keep this group going, and I think you are all in great hands with this team.
