The State Board for Community and Technical Colleges (SBCTC) is seeking a Policy Associate for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion to join the SBCTC Executive team. This position will work closely with internal and external partners to build capacity for advancing SBCTC’s vision for leading with racial equity as reflected within SBCTC’s 2020-2030 Strategic Plan<https://www.sbctc.edu/resources/documents/about/agency/strategic-plan/strategic-plan.pdf>.
Headquartered in Olympia, Washington, this position reports to the Director for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion with the purpose of scaling racial equity efforts across the community and technical college system.
The annual salary is $94,488.
Washington State has a generous benefit package including health, dental, life insurance, long-term disability, retirement, and two optional deferred compensation programs. The position is eligible to participate in the State Board Retirement Plan<http://www1.tiaa-cref.org/tcm/sbctc/> (SBRP) and Department of Retirement Systems<http://www.drs.wa.gov/> (DRS).
