Subject: 2020 Guided Pathways Work Plan - Due March 1, 2020
Importance: High

All,
We are nearly six months into the 2019-2020 year, and initial legislative funding for Guided Pathways planning for implementation at every community and technical college in Washington state. After much thought and dialogue, we are ready to release the 2020 Five year Guided Pathways work plan template. Over the next few months, you will have the opportunity to gather your team and build the plan that works in your college context and moves your student success and completion agenda forward as part of the larger statewide reform effort.
As you think about drafting your college plan, consider how each essential practice area will support your college and/or district's goals to increase meaningful completions and close equity gaps, and how you will include input from across your institution with these questions in mind:

* Which area/s of the framework will your institution prioritize in the 2020-2021 academic year?

* What do you expect to see as a short/ mid and long term impact of your redesign efforts?

* How do you plan to measure the impact of those changes/ efforts?

* How will equity gaps be addressed by your plan?
Remember, you will be asked to report:

* How your college/ district invested the Guided Pathways funds

* Why you chose that investment, and

* What the impact is via an annual process and outcomes report.
Attached you will find:

* Work plan template-Complete & submit by March 2, 2020. Please email the completed plan to kwellingtonbaker at sbctc.edu<mailto:kwellingtonbaker at sbctc.edu> and cc Lexi Swanson at lswanson at sbctc.edu<mailto:lswanson at sbctc.edu>.
