Hello,

Question for the group. Have you developed a way to code and track students in programs of study? If so can you please share the solution your college has developed?

Context. SBCTC is helping us figure out tracking and coding Areas of Study (meta majors) within the legacy system, but we're finding a big need to quickly figure out how to code and track students as the select programs of study within Areas of Study. Some programs are closely aligned with their degree, but other degrees serve multiple programs. For instance we have many social science and humanities programs based on the AA-DTA degree, but coding for that degree doesn't' help us know which programs a student might actually be pursing.

So please respond if your college has developing or is in the process of developing a way to track which students are in which programs.

Thanks
