All,
I'm the project manager at SFCC that Andrew Feldman mentioned below. I'd be happy to share some of my project management perspective for the Guided Pathways project and would love to hear your experiences as well. 

It would be great for us (coordinators/project managers) to get together at the winter cohort retreat for those of us attending. I'm willing to coordinate this if there is an interest.

At South I serve as our Guided Pathways ?conductor?.  I manage the College Spark grant and lead/facilitate our monthly Guiding Team meetings.  I also broadly track the work being done for Guided Pathways.  We are currently in the process of identifying a Faculty Co-lead for the Guiding Team to ensure equal representation of student services & instruction.  We have four Pillar Committees and each has two leads.

I do not have a project management background and I think that experience would be extremely beneficial for a role that would manage/lead/coordinate GP work.

Spokane Falls has hired a project manager with PM experience. We also have a co-chair model for our GP workgroups. Details can be provide if needed.
