This is an invitation for experienced FYE/success course instructors to participate in a doctoral research study identifying the essential curricular elements and implementation factors for delivering high-impact success courses to community college students in the U.S. Findings from this study will help community colleges implement courses leading to better student outcomes (higher GPA, more credits earned, successful transfers, completed degrees, etc.). Freshmen seminars, first-year experience courses, orientation classes, or college success are other names for student success courses.
