[Factc] WACTC Statements: Denouncing Violence against Blacks in America and Anti-Asian Discrimination Caused by COVID-19 Pandemic

Dear Friends and Colleagues:

The Washington Association of Community and Technical Colleges<https://www.sbctc.edu/colleges-staff/commissions-councils/wactc/default.aspx> (WACTC), the organization of community and technical college presidents, develops policy recommendations with its commissions to the State Board for Community and Technical Colleges and to the system.

On Friday, WACTC passed two anti-racist statements:

  *   "Resolution Denouncing Violence against Blacks in America In support of Black Students, Faculty, Staff, and Communities,"
  *   "Resolution Denouncing Anti-Asian Discrimination Caused by COVID-19 Pandemic in support of Asian American and Pacific Islander Students, Faculty, Staff, and Communities"
