This event is for:

*         Deans, directors, and program coordinators who have an active, hands-on role in developing and supporting I-BEST pathways at their institution.

*         Faculty who team teach in I-BEST or who would like to team teach.

*         Navigators who provide wraparound support services to I-BEST students.



Topics covered will include:

*         I-BEST & Contextualized Instruction in Guided Pathways

*         Scaling up Prof-tech Expansion and Academic/Transfer I-BEST

*         The Team Teaching Cadre

*         The Navigator Cadre

*         Educational & Financial Planning
This training is BEdA -- SBCTC sponsored and can be paid for with Leadership Block Grant funding. The dean/director may request additional funding for training by contacting Troy Goracke at tgoracke at sbctc.edu<mailto:tgoracke at sbctc.edu>

How do I register?

  *   Use the SBCTC online registration system.
     *   The link above will navigate to our online application form. Provide your information, click "Submit," and a pop-up message immediately indicates that your registration is complete. Additionally, an automatic email with the details of your registration will be sent to the email you listed during registration.
     *   A final confirmation email will be sent to all registered participants with additional event information 1-2 weeks prior to the event.
  *   In order to receive Proof of Attendance (POA) and/or Clock Hours, participants MUST check the appropriate box(s) when registering. POAs are sent via email to those who signed the sign in sheet at the training.  Clock Hours forms are mailed to the BEdA Director quarterly for those who requested them and signed the sign in sheet at the training. The Director is responsible for disseminating to appropriate faculty/staff. We are unable to provide documentation after the fact if it was not requested during the registration process.
