This FREE Workshop on the First Year Seminar in A Guided Pathways Redesign focuses on the opportunities to support and engage students in


·       meaningful career exploration and decision-making

·       creating an academic and career plan

·       developing the skills necessary for success

This professional learning experience will guide participants through a backwards design framework: enjoy  and work collaboratively with others from across TWO states to re‐imagine the first‐year seminar. You will also learn strategies and research to help you make the case for this course to be an essential part of every student’s program.

Where: The Sheraton at Portland Airport, 8235 NE Airport Way, Portland, OR
When: November 13‐14, 2018; 9:00am‐4:00pm both days
