The Dean of Instruction for Academics position encapsulates everything you are and what you can become. Within your first year, you will provide visionary leadership, administrative direction, and oversight for operations, activities, programs/courses, and services for the Academic Programs. You would promote an environment supportive of the College mission, vision, strategic plan, and core themes; program/curriculum development, monitoring, and outcomes assessment; faculty/staff hiring, professional development, support, supervision, and evaluation; as well as, development and maintenance of collaborative working relationships within the college and community.

In addition, you will make decisions concerning budget, set the strategic direction of the division in concert with the college's strategic priorities, and make recommendations on hiring, firing, and promotion, and other employee changes of status.
