Gerry,
I am happy to share my syllabi with you. They can be found in my faculty notebook.

Subject: [Factc] Common Course Content

Hello FACTC,

I’ve been trying to track down syllabi for English 101 and English 102 using the internet, and not having much success. I ‘ve found several and so far: the English 101 syllabi are similar in assignment and course outcomes; however, the English 102 assignments and curriculum (three syllabi gathered) are significantly different.

Could you please ask your English Department chairs or division leader to send me copies of English 101 and English 102 syllabi which meet there course policies and practices?

I’d like to have some good data for our discussion of common course numbering. Let your English department leader know that we will share our findings.

Thanks,

Gerry
