Congratulations are in order for our own D’Andre Fisher who will be stepping in as the permanent Associate Vice Chancellor for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion for the Seattle Colleges. Please join me in giving D’Andre his much-deserved congratulations!

D’Andre Fisher named Associate Vice Chancellor for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion

Following a deliberate and open search process, Mr. D’Andre Fisher has been named Seattle Colleges’ first-ever Associate Vice Chancellor for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.  Mr. Fisher will assume the new role on May 9. As the district’s Chief Diversity Officer, Mr. Fisher will be responsible for providing leadership and implementing strategies for achieving our shared vision of building a racially-equitable, socially-just, anti-racist institution in which all students, faculty, and staff are empowered to participate, benefit, and reach their full potential. Thank you to the search committee and everyone who participated in forums and provided feedback on the candidates.
