Q. Spokane Falls:  Why isn't the 1.057 Loan Fee displaying in my Financial Aid Item Type Set Up Tab 6?

  1.  Kelly Forsberg, SBCTC (FA):  Insert a New Row in your affected Item Type(s) using the Eff Date 01/01/2024 and select Save.  Check the FA Item Type 6 tab, and the 1.057% loan will have populated in the OR2 Loan Fee type.

Q.  Clark College:  Which date should I use if I need to update the Loan Fee Type?

  1.  Kelly Forsberg, SBCTC (FA):  Since Correct History is typically not available on this page, use the Insert a New Row button, and use a date that is before the Item Type Eff Date and after the Effective Date on the Loan Fee Table, so in the below example, use date 01/02/2001.

Q.  Spokane:  Can we use the Grace Period checkbox in the Process (Batch) Disbursements page?

  1.  Kelly Forsberg, SBCTC (FA):  This checkbox functions but it has been tested by FA Support that using that Grace Period day(s) causes issues with COD Pell Reporting.  Please just check the Honor Disbursement Date checkbox as the QRG mentions and do not use the Grace Period checkbox.
