[ctcLinkfinaidsupport] New Queries for Comment Codes 390 and 394

Good Afternoon-


We have created global checklist items and queries for Comment Codes 390 and 394. Below is the naming convention for the Event IDs and checklists as well as the query criteria. Note that not all colleges have data for comment code 394. Before creating the Event IDs or Checklists, you could run CTC_FA_ISIR_COMMENT_CODE to determine if these checklists should be added to your ISIR JobSet.



Comment Code 390

Event ID Assign: FISExx190I

Event ID Waive: FISExx190W

Checklist: Exx190 Federal Agency Match Issue

Queries:

QCS_FA_SB_AD_190: Selects students who received SAR comment code 390 and do not have Exx190 checklist assigned

QCS_FA_SB_WV_190: Selects students who received SAR comment code 390 on prior transaction, were assigned Exx190 and now have CPS Reprocessing Code 50 and comment code 172





Comment Code 394 (only WA160 & WA190 have a student for 2023)

Event ID Assign: FISExx194I

Checklist: Exx194 Parent SSN Conflict

Query: QCS_FA_SB_AD_194: Selects students who received SAR comment code 394 and do not have Exx194 checklist assigned

Disbursement Rules:

If the checklist(s) should prevent a student from receiving a disbursement, the checklist(s) will need to be added to the disbursement rules on the applicable item type(s). Note that when adding a new effective dated row to the item type disbursement rules, be sure to back date the effective date to the start of the calendar year before Saving your changes. For 22/23, this would be 01/01/2022. By using a date that is at the start of the year, this ensures that the checklist rule will be applied to students already awarded for the aid year.



Regarding Comment Codes 403, 404, 405 and 406:
*         403, 404: Queries have been developed to identify students with these comment codes. At this time none of the colleges have an ISIR with either comment code. These queries will be migrated to Production when transactions appear with these comment codes.
*         405, 406: Because these comment codes indicate No Resolution Required, queries have not been developed.
