[ctcLinkfinaidsupport] FW: Financial Aid Updates are live in ctcLink -- Okay to resume Pell and DL processing

Good Afternoon-

We have confirmed that the Financial Aid updates were installed successfully in ctcLink! You may now resume your Pell and Direct Loan processing.

Caution: As you prepare to update or create your run controls for the 2022-2023 PELLOUT and DLOUT processes that generate files for COD, please review your settings and file paths very closely. File paths are case sensitive and these processes will fail when an incorrect file path is used. This prevents other colleges from running their processes. As a reminder, you will want to select the 5.0a schema on your PELLOUT and DLOUT run control pages for 2023. The Pell 2023 and Direct Loan 2023 file paths can be copied from Upload/Download: Nav Bar > Navigator > People Tools > CTC Custom > Extensions > Upload/Download Files

Note that the updates to the below business process guides will be available on the ctcLink Reference Center by Monday.

Hello everyone,

The FA PRP 2 & 3 regulatory updates from Oracle will be installed to ctcLink today between 5pm and 6pm. Please do not process financial aid in ctcLink during this timeframe. We also ask that you do not perform any Pell or Direct Loan processing (originations, disbursements, or loading COD response files) until after we have been able to validate the changes in ctcLink Friday morning. We will send out a follow up message on the listserv when the functionality is available to you.

If you have an ISIR JobSet scheduled during the deployment timeframe we will be emailing you separately. Dual Processing jobs will not be impacted by this update and can remain on their regular schedule.

As you may have read in a previous post, following the deployment of this update the server cache for ctcLink Campus Solutions will be cleared. This means that you can expect temporary slowness in the morning on Friday until the cache is rebuilt.
