[ctcLinkfinaidsupport] Just-in-Time Training Delivery - July 27th, 2022

Good afternoon,

FA Training and FA Support are pleased to announce the roll-out of the Just-In-Time training delivery model to you, our college ctcLink users.  The Just-in-Time Training delivery model will focus on deeper-dive Fin Aid topics, around the time in which you should be completing the work in ctcLink.  Each Just-in-Time training session will last 1 - 3 hours, depending on the topic. Within the same week, or shortly thereafter, each Just-in-Time training session will have a follow-up Q&A session with FA Support Functional Analysts on the line, so that you can ask questions and gain further clarification on the session recently held.

Our first Just-in-Time training session will be held this Wednesday, July 27th, 2022 from 9:00 AM -11:00 AM, focusing on FA-SF Customer Account Reconciliation for Summer Term. This FA-SF Recon session is geared toward colleges who have just begun their first quarter of processing financial aid fully in ctcLink, though, all previously deployed colleges are invited to attend.  This session will be recorded.

Note, this FA-SF Customer Account Reconciliation is a deeper dive on the queries found on the https://ctclinkreferencecenter.ctclink.us/m/92438/l/1375604-fa-fund-management-business-process-guide and will not touch upon Pell/DL/State Aid recon processes at this time, as there will be separate sessions dedicated to those areas.

Wednesday's Just-in-Time session and all future calendared Just-In-Time training sessions, and Fin Aid Work Sessions, will be posted to the SBCTC calendar<https://www.sbctc.edu/calendar.aspx?trumbaEmbed=filterview%3DFINAidTraining>.  Save the Dates will be announced here in the ctclinkfinaidsupport list serv, and calendar invites will also be sent out to ctclinkfinaid support list serv.  Please consider this email as your first Save-the-Date announcement on the first Just-in-Time Training session for FA-SF Recon held this Wednesday 7/27/22 from 9AM - 11AM.  Calendar invite for this session is forthcoming.
