[ctcLinkfinaidsupport] Reminder: Cancel Processes and JobSets by 3:00pm on Thursday, April 21st for DG6B Go-Live!

For those of you using Dual Processing, in addition to stopping the PS jobset that creates the 4 files (bio, career, quarterly and degree), you also need to delete the AG995R and KW5001J that are scheduled to run Thursday night, April 21st. You then can reschedule these two jobs on Monday morning.

You can let the other HPUX batch jobs run as normal during the PS system lock out time with the exception of AG996R. Since PS will be locked down, the disbursement file created by AG996R won’t be accepted by PS.

Please let me know if you have any questions on this.

Thanks,

Becky

Subject: Reminder: Cancel Processes and JobSets by 3:00pm on Thursday, April 21st for DG6B Go-Live!

Good morning ctcLink FA Users!

DG6B’s Go Live activities begin this week! This is a reminder of the system lock out dates and times, and the steps you should take to ensure a smooth transition of your automated processes after DG6B colleges are live in ctcLink.

  * Bio/Demo Conversion system lock out: Thursday, April 21st, 9:00 pm to Friday, April 22nd, 4:00 am
  *   Go-Live system takedown: Friday, April 22nd, 3:00pm to Monday, April 25th, 7:00am

All recurring processes, jobs, and jobsets will need to be canceled before the Production environment can be taken offline. For those of you who schedule processes and jobs for your college, please plan on cancelling any recurring or pre-scheduled processes and jobs that you have scheduled by 3:00pm on Thursday, April 21st. Be sure to make a list of what you have scheduled (and when!) before you cancel them.

Instructions on how to cancel processes and jobs are attached.

After Production comes back online on Monday, April 25th, we let you know when it is time to reschedule your processes and jobs, along with a schedule of JobSet time slots for those of you still in Dual Processing.

Please forward this information onward as needed. Let us know if you have any questions!

Thank you,
