[ctcLinkfinaidsupport] PUM23 - 3C Variable Data Bug

Hi all,



A bug was introduced in PUM23 that prevents one from entering "Variable Data" unless the "Category" field is manually populated.  For those that utilize a "Communication Key" to populate all the fields, this will require a change in your procedure so that you are able to populate "Variable Data".  Follow the steps below for a workaround - do not enter a "Communication Key" before performing these steps:



Steps:

  1.  Enter "Function"
  2.  Enter "Category'
  3.  Enter "Variable Data"



You can then enter your "Communication Key" so that the rest of the data is pulled in for the communication information, or you may also enter the remaining fields manually as well.

A fix is slated for PUM24, so hopefully this is a temporary business procedure change.
