Axe-Con - Building Accessible Experiences

March 15-17, 2022

Axe-con 2022 <https://www.deque.com/axe-con/> is offered by Deque's and is a FREE accessibility conference with a focus on building, testing, and maintaining accessible digital experiences.

Tim Berners-Lee, the inventor of the World Wide Web is a keynote speaker.

The 3-day virtual event will be held March 15-17, 2021. Sessions will run from 9:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. (Eastern Time zone) each day.

Web Accessibility 101 (for SBCTC only)

Come learn about web accessibility standards and best practices on Thursday, May 19th, from 1:00-4:00pm.

During this training you will learn about WCAG standards, the POUR principles, basic accessible framework, tools to check your work, the correct use of ARIA, and more! We will also introduce Assistive Technology and provide a demo of a screen reader navigating a web page.
