The State Board for Community and Technical Colleges (SBCTC) is seeking a Policy Associate (Accessible IT Coordinator)<https://www.sbctc.edu/colleges-staff/my-employment/default.aspx> to join the SBCTC team.


The position is responsible for leading agency efforts to integrate accessible practices into the culture and procedures of the agency and the college system.



The Coordinator will provide leadership, advocacy, resources, training, and consultation to assist the agency and the Community and Technical College system in achieving policy, planning, and equity goals for digital accessibility. This position is professionally active in higher education accessibility communities and researches, recommends and collaborates with agency and college stakeholders in the design and implementation of systems, procedures, and policies that promote and support digital accessibility. The position reports to the Deputy Director of Education.



Headquartered in Olympia, the successful applicant will possess excellent skills in organization and communication as well as a strong understanding of policy and law as well as knowledge and facility with the tools, techniques, standards, and administrative processes that support technology accessibility.


The annual salary for this position is $91,728.
