Hello Everyone,

The University of Washington Accessible Technology Services of UW-IT is happy to announce that we will host a Washington State Policy #188 Capacity Building Institute (CBI) on January 11, 2018.

The CBI will bring together individuals identified by their institutions as coordinators for implementing Policy #188 (one representative per campus). The day-long CBI will be held on the UW Seattle campus in room 145 of the Husky Union Building (HUB). It will begin at 8 am on Thursday, January 11, 2018 with a continental breakfast and networking. During the day we will hear presentations and engage in conversations about where we are in implementing Policy #188 on our campuses. We will end at 5 pm.

We will cover the cost of one night's hotel lodging (for those not local, up to $189.00) and lunch at the meeting. You will need to book your own lodging. We will have information on submitting your lodging receipt at the event. Local hotels we recommend include:

Residence Inn by Marriott Seattle University District - http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/seaud-residence-inn-seattle-university-district/?scid=bb1a189a-fec3-4d19-a255-54ba596febe2

and the

Silver Cloud Inn University - https://www.silvercloud.com/university/

If you choose to book with one of the above hotels, mention that you are staying to attend a meeting on the UW campus and ask about the UW discounted rate.

You are encouraged to apply early as space is limited. Apply now at https://catalyst.uw.edu/webq/survey/lylac/342797.
If you have any questions please contact Lyla Crawford at lylac at uw.edu<mailto:lylac at uw.edu>.

We look forward to seeing you at the event.

Lyla
