[BLC] BAS & Financial Aid

Tanya,

The BAS programs I work with have a mix of lower and upper division
courses. Students typically start the program with 30cr general education
and 60cr proficiency (prof tech in an accepted area). This means, at a
minimum, they are moving through the BAS courses but also typically taking
one lower division course at the same time. We offer a high/low tuition
wherein they get a discount on the lower division course as long as they
are concurrently enrolled in the upper division courses.

As long as the lower division courses are required for the BAS, financial
aid should cover them since the 4-year degree is aid eligible.

Thanks,
KDN
