Thank you, Connie, for sending these attachments and information. I had to go help my daughter at the last minutes and may not have access to the internet for this Spring meeting. I am hoping to find a way to connect at least for Wednesday, but if I am not able to, I will look forward to reading the minutes and getting caught up.

Hello BLC members,



We hope to see you at our BLC spring quarter meeting, Tuesday and Wednesday. In preparation for the meeting, I wanted to share the attached documents.



Val Sundby will be providing an update from SBCTC which will include the attached document regarding BS and BAS degrees. The document provides great information and answers the question, “What are the similarities and different of BS versus BAS degrees.”



During the meeting, we will also discuss the feedback from Instruction Commission regarding our proposed changes to the general education requirements.  The attached distribution requirements document shows the changes Instruction Commission would like us to consider.



I have also attached the agenda for our spring meeting and the minutes from our winter quarter meetings.



I look forward to a great meeting and discussion, Tuesday and Wednesday.
