Registration is now open for the Social Justice Leadership Institute (SJLI) Cohort VII 2021! Applications are available through Bellevue College's Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion's webpage. Social Justice Leadership Institute:

       SJLI focuses on honing skills for becoming a culturally responsive social justice leader of the community and technical community colleges in Washington State. It is a collaboration with Bellevue College & South Seattle College.

Social Justice Leadership Institute Mission:

To achieve full leadership participation, educational equity, and empowerment for members of historically disfranchised and underrepresented groups through mentoring, and culturally responsive training. The intended outcomes of this leadership institute are:

  *   To foster leadership identity among historically underrepresented groups.
  *   To professionally develop a pipeline of colleagues through cohorts system wide, preparing them to move into higher leadership positions.

 Social Justice Institute Time Commitment:

·         2 ½ day retreat

·         Five ½ day sessions
