Even before COVID-19 hit Washington, thousands of college students faced basic needs insecurity while completing their education. These barriers are likely to be exacerbated as Washington enters economic recession.



In this webinar we'll share an overview of student housing insecurity and homelessness in Washington and ways your institution can get involved. You'll learn about the pilot program Supporting Students Experiencing Homelessness from the perspective of a student advocate who formerly experienced homelessness, program organizers, and a pilot college innovating to better support students.

You'll learn about opportunities to participate in the effort statewide to better understand student housing insecurity through needs assessment and a learning community for Washington higher education.
