[BFET] BFET Funding After October 1st

Good morning.
Several of you have inquired about what actions should be taken for BFET if there is no federal budget enacted on October 1st.

In response to an inquiry to DSHS, I received the following from Corinna:
                Great news. The portion of the Federal Budget with SNAP is already approved!
They did it really quietly earlier this month. Who knew!?

However we are still waiting for our approval from FNS. Since we will not be able to sign the contract until after Oct. 1, we will be doing an After-the-fact signing so that it will still be effective Oct. 1st.

Hope this alleviates some of your concerns.
