[BFET] URGENT: FFY17 BFET 100% Funding - Budget Revisions Due 6/28/17

Great news!

The SBCTC has officially received 100% funding for FFY17 BFET grants.  Your revised FFY17 BFET grant funding levels with your approved 100% funding amount is attached.

You can spend these funds on allowable activities starting July 1, 2017, as long as a budget revision is approved in OBIS no later than June 30, 2017.  Because of this extremely tight timeline, a budget revision for your 100% funding must be submitted in OBIS<https://obis.sbctc.edu/> no later than Wednesday, June 28, 2017.  Allowable activities for 100% funds are: Salary & Wages, Employee Benefits, Goods & Services, Travel, Indirect and Tuition. Participant Reimbursement cannot be funded with 100% funds.

On a related note, as you prepare your spring quarter BFET invoices, please note that you can continue to claim 50/50 indirect through June 30, 2017.  Claim that indirect the same way you've claimed it for fall and winter quarters this year.  You cannot use 100% funding for indirect for spring quarter.

In mid to late July, instructions will be provided on what to do with your left over 50/50 indirect. In the meanwhile, do not move excess 50/50 indirect funds to other budget categories or activities.
