          Join Student Veteran Life and Husky Veterans at the University of Washington for our first ever Community College Student Veteran Transfer Day. This workshop is intended to help prospective community college student veterans in the final weeks before transfer applications are due. Students will be able to ask questions about the admission process, financial aid and GI Bill benefits at the UW, transfer credit, and how to leverage military experience to write a powerful personal statement. The event will end with a mixer hosted by Husky Veterans where current UW transfer student veterans will be available to answer questions about their transfer experience and the lessons that they learned in the process.
