[BFET] FFY17 BFET Fund Reallocation - 8/3/17

Good afternoon,

Thank you for completing the recent BFET funding survey. Revised FFY17 BFET grant funding based on the survey is attached.  Decreases were voluntary.  Increases were reallocated based on the colleges request level and the level of funding returned in those categories. No 100% funds were returned, so no 100% fund requests were able to be approved.

SBCTC will adjust grant amounts in OBIS<file:///\\nas-oly-1\common.edu\Workforce\PROGRAMS\WorkFirst\Communication%20Templates\apps.sbctc.edu\obis<file://nas-oly-1/common.edu/Workforce/PROGRAMS/WorkFirst/Communication%20Templates/apps.sbctc.edu/obis>> in the next day or so.  Once your grant amount is adjusted in OBIS, your college will receive an automated award increase/decrease notification from OBIS.  After you receive that automated email, please go into OBIS to create and submit a budget revision request so that your budget reflects the new grant amount.

Your budget revision request must be submitted no later than Thursday, August 24, 2017. I will be out of the office from Wednesday, August 16, until Monday, August 28, so no budget revisions will be approved during that time. In other words, the sooner you get your budget revision submitted in OBIS, the sooner you will have the funds available to expend.
