Great news! It seems as if the issue of state-government agencies not being able to use the Secure Email Portal was of the highest priority for DSHS administration.

We have been notified that the state's new vendor for the Secure Email Portal has upgraded the platform to enable the continued use of the portal for sending/receiving secure emails for everyone already registered in the Washington Secure Email Portal effective today.

This upgrade now allows external users to forward and compose encrypted emails from within the portal to other external recipients.

You should be alerted to register and activate your new Secure Email Portal account after receiving an encrypted email for the first time.
For questions with first time registration or log in issues, please contact Washington Technology Solutions (WaTech) at support at watech.wa.gov <mailto:support at watech.wa.gov?subject=Registration/Log%20In%20Issues>  or by phone at 1-855-928-3241 (toll free).

I will be sending out an email to each of you so you can register and then be able to send your January Tracking sheets to us through the new system.
