For summer, we provided in person services M-Th 9-4:30, and remote on Fridays.  For the Fall quarter M, W, Th 8-4:30, Tuesday 8-6 pm and Fridays 8-12.

For the summer we have been open to the public as a college Mon-Thursday 8-5 and closed to the public on Friday. Starting this week our new permanent hours are Mon-Thurs 8-5 and Friday 8-noon for all of campus. Staff have the option to maintain a five day a week 8 hr. schedule if they would like. Several offices are choosing to do just that to focus on desk tasks without interruptions.

Our effort isn’t FA specific though. We strongly believe that all offices need to be open the same hours since it is so confusing for students to try to figure out what is open and what is not. Our new schedule was a compromise for many offices that needed the desk time.

Hi All,

I’m wondering how many of you have limited Financial Aid service hours during the typical work week?  We are trying to accommodate the impacts of ctcLink implementation on processing, limited staffing, and compliance reporting with the needs of our students and have moved toward more limited service hours.

Could you let me know if you have alternative hours for FA that deviate from the typical Monday-Friday 8-5?  And if so, what are your hours?
