[wactclc-alma] Two Bib records are overlaying in Alma upon export from Records Manager

Hi Victoria,

Those two records are both volumes in the MoMa exhibitions catalog series. If you are using a method in your import profile that matches on the 024 that might be what is doing this. You might try just importing those records, or one of those records in a separate batch with the overlay radio button set to import new record instead or try out a different serial match method that doesn't match on the 024 and see if that helps.

I wonder if it is possible that when the record was created, it was copied (and then had the same MMSID)? Might it be possible to simply create a new record (or import the record again) and then attach the items to the new bib?

Hello,



I’ve found two books that overlay each other when I try to import the record that isn’t in Alma. The two titles are: “Georgia O’Keeffe: To see takes time” and “Bodys Isek Kingelez”. I’ve tried comparing the records and they for some strange reason, have the same MMS ID. The only other field that I see is the same is the publisher. Does anyone have any ideas? It’s driving me crazy that I can’t get these two records to play nice.
