[Wactclc-alma] Newspaper digitization recommendations?

Hi all,

Edmonds College has a print collection of student newspapers, and I'm
researching options for digitizing and creating an institutional repository
for them. If any of you have undertaken a project like this, did you work
with an outside vendor for the digitization/scanning piece? And if so, do
you have any recommendations for companies that can provide this type of
service? I can look around on my own, but I figured I'd ask the group first
to avoid reinventing the wheel here! Beyond that, what type of software did
you use to create your collection? ContentDm? Omeka? Something else?

Any general words of wisdom (or caution) would be much appreciated.
