Lily,

It's possible you need to create a Custom Local Data Scope (under Alma config > Discovery > Search Configuration > Search Profiles > Custom Local Data Scope tab)

and set a condition for:
Search Index: Inventory: is part of any collection

Operator: exists

Then add that Custom Local Data Scope to your "Library Catalog" and "Everything" Search Profiles under Alma config > Discovery > Search Configuration > Search Profiles > Search Profiles tab > [Profile] > List of Scopes included in the Search Profile section.

Maybe?

It will be ok!

Subject: [Wactclc-alma] Configuring Collections to Show in Primo

Hi All,

I created my first collection and can’t get it to show up in Primo. I chatted with a Primo agent in the Alma chat feature, but he couldn’t figure out what was wrong either, so I have a ticket in for the problem. In the meantime, I thought I’d get a faster solution if I asked the group mind. Any ideas on how to fix the problem?

Here’s my collection page:

https://sbctc-spsccctc.primo.exlibrisgroup.com/discovery/collectionDiscovery?vid=01STATEWA_SPSCC:SPSCC<https://nam04.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fsbctc-spsccctc.primo.exlibrisgroup.com%2Fdiscovery%2FcollectionDiscovery%3Fvid%3D01STATEWA_SPSCC%3ASPSCC&data=05%7C01%7C%7Cfc4e93d085b64b8c3e5c08daf4f8af71%7C02d8ff38d7114e31a9156cb5cff788df%7C0%7C0%7C638091646193546974%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000%7C%7C%7C&sdata=IDbx3cxn%2FRUSZjqblq9FxEBUtLw4NAAbvgnRGRm6oGA%3D&reserved=0>

Here’s my configuration for the top level collection. I suppressed the bib record of the collection from showing up in Primo (this shouldn’t be a problem, right?).

I also have Collection Discovery enabled in my Primo view configuration:

What other step am I missing?

Be well,
