[Wactclc-alma] Troubleshooting in Alma/Primo

Hi all:

In the call yesterday, I said I would share a troubleshooting flowchart I created in Visio (never used it before, so forgive any weirdness in formatting) for staff for the most common issues we come across in Alma/primo. It's just a very general, basic overview that's meant to give people an idea of where to start looking when things don't work. Not sure if it's helpful because it's specific to our workflows, but hopefully it will be.

Does the hosted OCLC instance let you point a domain at it?  If they do, I could point the ezproxy.library.skagit.edu subdomain at it.  Not sure what options they have, but they may be able to setup a redirect on their end that would fix all of those old URLs without actually having to change them.

Yes! You can get rid of it. I just wish faculty would switch over their URLs to the new EzProxy server, because we are still getting students who get an ezproxy error message...

I wonder if there's a way to do a global search and replace in Canvas to fix that across all course shells. I will ask Claver.

Hi Elena,

I'm assuming since you've got everything moved to the hosted OCLC version we can go ahead and snapshot and turn off the old EZProxy server that we have up at DigitalOcean.  I just wanted to double check.  Can we turn it off?
