"activate" vs "activate for search in CDI" on the DOAJ CDI collection came up in today's call.

The "activate for search in CDI" is actually an artifact of the transition from the CKB to the CDI, for those that remember that transition back in 2019 (?).

"Activate for search in CDI" specifically appears on CDI collections that provide full text content for CZ collections you had activated prior to the transition to the CDI, and that didn't have any full text content directly associated with the collection prior to the transition to the CDI.

The link below kind of explains it.

So, you'll only see that option on a limited number of CDI collections.

And I wouldn't worry about understanding it.

For activating the full text content for DOAJ, just use the 'activate' option.
