Hello All,

I wanted to send out the response I received from Ex Libris Support just a while ago regarding EBSCO and the 404 error.

The metadata issue was discovered during a chat session with CDI Support.

Thank you again,

Traci

Subject: Case comments are added to the case: 06409578: CDI Chat- EBSCO 404 error page

Dear Traci,

A new comment has been added to case 06409578<https://support.proquest.com/5003r00001TrMttAAF>.

Case Title: CDI Chat- EBSCO 404 error page
Last Comment:
Hi Traci,

Firstly, I wanted to let you know I've updated the metadata to allow the duplicates (seen here: https://tinyurl.com/296thffa) merge into one result. They should merge after the next index update.

Secondly, after bringing it to the attention of my Alma and linking colleagues, I recommend contacting EBSCO about your institution's IP/linking settings. So far, the outgoing link on the Primo side is correct, the CDI metadata will be correct (after the index update), and your proxy appears to work. Essentially, everything on the Primo/Alma/CDI side is working as it should. My colleagues, like me, could also access the content directly using your proxy credentials.

I am going to set this case to Pending Release. The corrected data for the duplicates will appear in your discovery system after the next Index update, which usually takes about a week. We will notify you when it is released so you can check the new data.

Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

Best regards,
Ellen, MLIS

Our EZproxy and security certificates are up to date. We are still getting a 404 error when trying to access articles from EBSCO in Primo. Here is a link to the article
