Wade,

Good morning! I have questions about a specific job in Alma, titled "Upload electronic holdings - PROQUEST_EBOOK_CENTRAL."

When we've added standalone eBooks to the catalog, we've been combining bib records so that there is only one institution-level bib record containing all the access options for that title. However, we noticed yesterday that the daily job above, when it runs, then re-activates the Proquest Ebook Central portfolio (if we have it) as a community-level bib record and separates it from the institution-level bib record. Obviously, though, we need the job to run, to update our Proquest holdings.

1)      Is there a way for the job to check for matches or something similar, so that it recognizes the combined record as the activated holding?
2)      Who would have access to the job? We can see it in history, but not in "Run a Job." Would Alma have access to it?
